Northeast Hartford Affordable Housing II (NHAH II) is a ten-building, 78-unit scattered site development of small apartment buildings and townhouses. The development includes a neighborhood Resource Center which houses a management office, laundry facilities, Community Police Station, and a Community Garden available for resident use. In 2024, SOC worked with HUD, the city, and the state to secure financing to renovate the properties and provide rental subsidies to support low-income rent-burdened tenants. The project scope included new bathrooms and kitchens, flooring, windows, as well as renovated common spaces, landscaping, and security improvements. Construction was completed in the Spring of 2026.
