Charter Oaks Cultural Center brought a musical session for the children of Sheldon Oak’s Community Center at 54 South Prospect Street. The talented music teacher from the local cultural center led our session, which featured drumsticks and music buckets. We all gathered in a circle, fostering a sense of community as we crafted rhythmic beats together. This session was especially educational for the children who had the opportunity to delve into the world of percussion. They learned essential skills, such as holding and using drumsticks properly, along with various musical tips and tricks. It was a fun experience that sparked a love for music and rhythm in young hearts.
