96-98 Martin St.
96-98 Martin Street | Hartford, CT
In 1990, Sheldon Oak Central began the rehab of a three-story building on the corner of Martin and Nelson Streets. The project replaced vacant retail space on the building’s first floor with a three-bedroom unit. Each three-bedroom unit includes two full bathrooms, a full-sized kitchen, dining area and living room. Moderate renovations, including new unit kitchens and boilers, were completed in 2010.
SOC applied for a recoverable grant through the State-Sponsored Housing Portfolio to fund renovations at 96-98 Martin St in 2014. The grant will pay for needed efficiency and structural upgrades that will ensure future property sustainability.
